Mumabi: Underworld don Dawood Ibrahim's nephew Danish is reported to have been killed in a road accident near Panvel on the Mumbai-Goa highway.
Danish was heading back to Mumbai from Goa. He was out on bail after a recent arrest on charges of assault.
Though Danish was not involved in major underworld activities related to Dawood, he was definitely a small-time goon who used to throw his weight around using Dawood's name.
He was also involved in a fake passport case.
The police had definitely been keeping an eye on him because he belonged to Dawood's family.
When Danish got married, a lot of policemen were stationed near the venue hoping that they would be able to corner some guests who would be able to give them information that would help them lay the final trap for the underworld don.
However, in terms of his death, Danish has not been a major loss to the police for they have their intelligence in place as far as Dawood is concerned.
