Srinagar: Two policeman died when terrorists opened fire at a police party in Srinagar’s SMHS hospital on Tuesday.

Sources said a Pakistani militant, Naved, who was being taken for medical treatment escaped during the attack.

The incident took place at the Shri Maharaja Hari Singh hospital in Kaka Sarai area of Srinagar on Tuesday morning. The terrorists fired at the police team accompanying Lashkar-e-Taiba’s Naved alias Abu Hanzula. Intelligence sources said Hanzula is a self-styled commander of Lashkar was caught in south Kashmir’s Kulgam in 2014.
