BANGALORE: Many studies have stated that poor blood circulation is also a reason for Erectile Dysfunction (ED). Isha Diagnostic Centre with state-of-the-art Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scan equipment is conducting a research on this topic. It is said accurate results can be obtained in the process.
The centre has established a special procedure to ascertain the root cause for ED through MRI. This technique uses magnetism, computers with special software to detect movement of the blood particles. For the first time such research based attempt is being done in the world. The entire study takes around 40 minutes and based on these test results, patients can take suitable medicines."Isha is conducting such tests to ascertain the cause for ED in patients. Blood circulation problems in heart or other internal parts of the body may need surgery. Problems in external parts of the body can be cured through medicines, physiotherapy, laser and ultrasound methods," said Dr Balakrishna Shetty, Chief of Radiology, Isha Diagnostics.
