New Delhi: After being a hit with audiences in the small screen, American High school drama-musical TV show will soon be made into a movie.The multi-generational phenomenon that has inspired millions to embrace their inner-Gleek will soon bring them together to experience Glee a whole new way.
20th Century Fox has released the international trailer for 'Glee: The 3D Concert Movie'. The video shows many musical performances onstage as well as several backstage action from Glee Live! In Concert!
The mean cheerleading coach in the show Sue Sylvester played by Jane Lynch tries to persuade people not to watch the movie by appearing in a "Stop believing" campaign video. In her typical sue-like attitude she says, "Please, save your money, this thing sucks!"
She also spreads a written press release that read, "Say 'NO' to their insignificant cinematic experiment. I don't know about you, but I can't stand looking at their little satanic faces in 2D, much less 3D." Quoting a Charlie Sheen wisdom, she added, "Your face will melt off, and your children will weep over your exploded body."
"Glee: The 3D Concert Movie" brings "Glee" cast's recent tour to the big screen. Directed by Kevin Tancharoen, the movie features stars of the FOX hit series, including Lea Michele, Chris Colfer, Cory Monteith, Heather Morris, Naya Rivera, Dianna Agron, Darren Criss and Chord Overstreet. The film is produced by Ryan Murphy, will release in the US on August 12.
