Gujarat Govt Transfers 21 IPS Officers, Pandian Back in State
A K Singh, at present serving as the ADGP, Technical Services, has been made the new police commissioner of Ahmedabad.

Ahmedabad: Rajkumar Pandian, discharged by a special court in alleged fake encounter cases of Sohrabuddin Sheikh and Tulsiram Prajapati in August, was on Wednesday appointed Inspector General of Junagadh Range as the Gujarat government transferred 21 IPS officers in the state.

Pandian is at present serving as the liaison officer of Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation in Mumbai, stated a notification issued by state Home Department tonight.

Abhay Chudasama, serving as joint MD of Gujarat Police Housing Corporation, has been transferred as Deputy IG of Panchmahal Range.

Ahmedabad city police commissioner Shivanand Jha has been shifted to Gandhinagar as Additional DGP, Intelligence.

A K Singh, at present serving as the ADGP, Technical Services, has been made the new police commissioner of Ahmedabad.

Surat city police commissioner Ashish Bhatia has been transferred to Gandhinagar as Additional DGP, CID, Crime and Railways.

Satishkumar Sharma, serving as ADGP, Security, Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd, has been made the new police chief of Surat.

Sharma has been replaced by Vadodara police commissioner E Radhakrishnan.

Gandhinagar Range IG Manoj Shashidhar has been sent to Vadodara as the new police commissioner.
