Chennai: A worker of the Hindu Ilaignar Sena, a fringe outfit, claimed responsibility for the attack on Tamil news channel Puthiya Thalaimurai's office in Chennai on Thursday.
He has surrenederd before a local court in Madurai.
Meanwhile, journalists in the city also protested against the attack.

Recently, the office was targeted by right wing groups for airing a show promo in which panelists were debating the relevance of the 'mangalsutra'.
