IGP kicks off anti-ragging rally in city

CHENNAI: Flagging off an anti-ragging rally, IGP, North Zone, C Sylendra Babu said, “Ragging leaves no beneficiaries as the victim is scarred psychologically and the one who does it may land up in jail.”Delivering a power point presentation at Hindustan University here on Thursday the IGP explained the laws and punishments related to ragging and explained that bully juniors inside or outside campus is a punishable offence. Hundereds of students wearing T-Shirts stating ‘SAY NO TO RAGGING’ participated in the anti-ragging rally.
