IHRD working: Government plans vigilance probe

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The state government is learnt to have decided to go in for a Vigilance probe into the irregularities detected in  the  functioning of Institute of Human Resources Development (IHRD) involving Additional director V A Arunkumar and suspended director V Subramoni.     The move is based on  reports filed by the Finance Inspection Wing and Principal Accountant-General. The government had earlier suspended IHRD Director V Subramaniam for allegedly helping V S Achuthanandan’s son  V A Arunkumar in securing undeserved promotion.ADDITIONAL CHARGE Meanwhile, LBS Director Sayyed Rasheed has been given the additi- onal charge of IHRD director.
