New Delhi: A Mumbai court on Monday extended the judicial custody of the accused in journalist Jyotirmoy Dey’s murder case till February 14. Journalist Jigna Vora was among those who appeared in the court on Monday.
J Dey, a senior crime journalist with MiD Day, was shot dead on June 11 last year near his residence in Powai, central Mumbai by motorcycle-borne assailants.
Vora stands accused of providing information about Dey, including his address and motorcycle number, to Mumbai underworld don Chhota Rajan a day before the murder.
The police believe the murder may be related to his reporting on the oil mafia.
