Los Angeles: Paramount studio has reportedly decided to make several cuts in the publicity videos of Tom Cruise starrer crime drama 'Jack Reacher' in wake of the school shooting in Newtown, Connecticut.
The film, releasing this Friday in the US, stars Cruise as a hard-boiled former military cop trying to prove that an alleged sniper was framed.
The studio wouldn't officially say what the changes are, but a source confirmed that a scene of Cruise's character firing off a semi-automatic weapon is being cut from promotional spots, the Hollywood Reporter said.

much-anticipated film 'Django Unchained' has also been cancelled by the Weinstein Company.
