Jaya asks rebels to withdraw papers

CHENNAI: Cautioning party workers who have filed papers against the official nominees that it would only favour the Opposition, AIADMK general secretary and Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa on Sunday urged them to withdraw their papers.In an open letter to the cadre, Jayalalithaa reassured workers who were not given party tickets that their political aspirations would be fulfilled at an appropriate time.She regretted that the party was unable to give opportunity to many in the polls. “This does not mean that you are undervalued in the party. All of you are the eyes and hearts of the AIADMK. I value each one of you for your work,” she said.
