BIFF will showcase 145 films from 45 countries that have won awards at various international film festivals.
Tamil superstar Kamal Haasan will inaugurate the sixth annual Bengaluru International Film Festival on December 26.
The eight-day festival will be held in association with Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce (KFCC) and Karnataka Chalanachitra Academy (KCA).
BIFF will showcase 145 films from 45 countries that have won awards at various international film festivals. Apart from the acclaimed Asian films, the festival will also showcase Indian and Kannada cinema. Dr Rajkumar films will be the main highlight of the festival.
