A film in the making for a long time now 'Shatru' first action film starring actor Nenapirali Premkumar has been given the U/A certificate by the regional censor board. The U/A is for the action that is very fierce at places.
The hero of Kannada cinema Premkumar had a few action scenes in 'Gunavantha' but this one is a cop role for him. The shooting for this film is held in the northern Karnataka with a care in the dialogues for the film.
The role of Premkumar is filled with lot of clever dealings in removing the thorns in the society. He does not reveal that he is a cop once he enters the area of baddie Ravishanker.
JK is the debut director of this film for producer MD Prakash under the banner of Sri Sai Ram films. The film is all set for good theatre set up and release in the month of April this year.
Dimple Chopda of 'Kote' Kannada cinema (she has another film 'Sihi Muthu' unreleased) is female lead. Ramesh Bhat, Rangayana Raghu, Bullet Prakash, Tabala Naani, BS Anand, Arun Devasya are in the cast.
A Mumbai based Sujith Shetty after 'Jothegara' composed the music for this film. Mathew Rajan is cameraman, Mohan B Kere is art director.
