Kanyakumari Students Invent Machine To Check Oxygen And Heart Rate Via Fingerprints
The machine uses artificial intelligence to evaluate the physical condition of the users.

Students of a private engineering college in Kanyakumari are currently in the headlines for their remarkable invention. According to Local 18 Tamil Nadu, these students have developed a machine and an application to detect oxygen and heart rate. These parameters will be identified through human fingerprints. The invention will then detect the harm caused to the body through the heart and oxygen rates. The students are named Shivani, Vipisha, Kavya and Haripriya. They said, “We have developed an IoT (Internet of Things)-based health monitoring system. This method helps to continuously monitor important health indicators such as body temperature, blood oxygen level, and heart rate. It is built using a Bluetooth module and various sensors.” The students said that the invention stores the previous 100 records as a subset so users can always access and monitor their health. According to them, it helps in monitoring the variations in the health condition, detecting the changes quickly and prescribing the necessary treatments in advance. The machine uses artificial intelligence to evaluate the physical condition of the users. It also gives personalised advice to the users based on their health condition. Apart from that, on sensing sudden changes in health, the AI system sends immediate instructions to the user. It helps to alert the user in situations that require timely treatment.

The students said that their invention reduces the need to go to the hospital. According to them, the early detection of health problems lessens the chances of health issues that require immediate attention. Such technology works to easily monitor the health of users and improve their quality of life.

In the Local 18 Tamil visual, social media users can see the students Shivani, Vipisha, Kavya and Haripriya giving a demo of their machine. When you put your fingerprints on the machine, it shows the earlier health data of the user. It also shows the diagrams of the heart and the man inhaling air via his nostrils. The former will show the person’s heart rate, the latter will calculate the oxygen rate. Shivani, Vipisha, Kavya and Haripriya diligently talked about every aspect of their machine.
