Karnataka: Dosa in the shape of EC slogan alphabets to attract voters
These dosas are made in the shape of Kannada sentences like 'Nanna matha nanna hakku' (my vote, my right).

Ramanagara (Bangalore rural): The Ramanagara district administration has come out with an innovative idea to create awareness among the voters about their rights. It is distributing free dosa to people at the local KSRTC bus stand. These dosas are made in the shape of Kannada letters and sentences like 'Nanna matha nanna hakku' (my vote, my right), 'Ellaroo mathadana maadi' (Please all of you vote), 'Praja prabhutva bhadrapadisi' (Strengthen the Democray).

The district 'SWEEP' committee, Zilla Panchayat and Akshara Dasoha committee are jointly doing it at different parts of Bangalore Rural. They make dosas at public places mainly bus stands and distribute them to people for free.

These rare dosas in the shape of election commission's slogans are attracting a lot of people. The district administration feels that innovative ideas like these actually create more awareness than public speeches, advertisements and pamphlets.
