Kerala Woman Promoted To Supervisor Rank After Success In PCS Exam
The woman attempted and cleared this exam in 2021 and secured 83rd rank.

Ashwathi V has been a worker at the Anganwadi No 16 of Anchuthengu Gram Panchayat, Kerala for 2 decades. Now, she has been promoted to the post of supervisor. According to the Local 18 Malayalam, she attained this post after clearing the exam, held by the Kerala Public Service Commission. She attempted and cleared this exam in 2021 and secured 83rd rank. With this rank and a brilliant performance in the examination, she has been commissioned to work on a project at Pandalam, Kerala. As a worker, Ashwathi’s performance speaks volumes about her professionalism. She looked after every work assignment with utmost care and shared a great rapport with her colleagues. Anchuthengu Gram Panchayat’s president V Laiju presented a gift to the former Anganwadi No 16 worker for her commendable performance as an employee in her two-decade-long service. This award was presented on behalf of the union at the meeting held by the Anganwadi Workers & Helpers Association under the leadership of the Anchuteng Regional Committee.

Many esteemed dignitaries took part in this meeting which included Centre of Indian Trade Unions Area Secretary Anchuthengu Surendran. The Chirayinkeezhu Block Panchayat Standing Committee Chairperson Josphin Martin was also present. Panchayat Secretary P Rajeev, and Anchuthengu Panchayat Anganwadi Supervisors Vrinda S, and Jyoti Jayaram expressed their opinions. Former Supervisor Maheshwariamma, Union Leaders Sindhu Prakash, C Ajitha and Selvi Jackson, Ajitharaju, Ranjila Udayan, and M Mini also appreciated Ashwathi for her remarkable work.

Ashwathi’s promotion as an Anganwadi Supervisor is one of the important landmarks not only for her but for the entire Anchuteng. Her journey from an honest worker to a supervisor is a testament to the immense potential that comes from persistence and hard work.
