KOLLAM: Separate complaints were filed against Minister K B Ganesh Kumar and Government Chief Whip P C George at the Punalur First Class Magistrate Court III on Saturday for making derogatory comments against Opposition leader V S Achuthanandan and A K Balan respectively. DYFI Pathanapuram area secretary S Sajeesh filed a complaint against Ganesh Kumar for making unsavoury comments against the Opposition leader in public and creating unrest among public through his speech. The complaint charges the minister guilty of intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of peace and for using obscene words in public. Another complaint was filed by Janathipathya Mahila Association district committee member and Piravanthoor panchayat former president, K Rajamma against P C George for his derogatory comments against A K Balan. The complaint was filed under the Prevention of Atrocities Against Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes Act.
