Islamabad: The Indian Deputy High Commissioner was summoned to the Pakistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Wednesday evening. Defending the charges of unprovoked firing in Sambha sector Pakistan lodged a strong protest on the unprovoked firing of the Indian troops in the Zafarwal Sector, resulting in the death of four personnel of Pakistani Rangers.

Pakistan in its statement has strongly condemned the action of the BSF troops, which is in violation of the commitment by both sides to maintain ceasefire along the Line of Control and the Working Boundary.

After yet another ceasefire violation by Pakistan Rangers on Wednesday, the strong retaliation by Border Security Force troops forced the former to raise the white flag. Pakistan Rangers suffered four casualties while one BSF soldier was killed in the firing in Samba sector of Jammu and Kashmir.
