THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: KPCC president Ramesh Chennithala inaugurated the meeting of the Mahila Congress here on Tuesday at 10 am. The meeting was chaired by Mahila Congress state president Bindu Krishna. UDF convenor P P Thankachan, AICC secretary Shanimol Usman, NSU president Hibi Eden MLA, KPCC general secretary Rosakutty Teacher, KPCC secretary Lathika Subhash and Prof G Balachandran spoke. The state committee of the Mahila Congress will organise a seminar on ‘Right to Information Act and Effective Measures to End Corruption’ on November 19. National president Anitha Varma will inaugurate the seminar. The committee will also observe a fast and hold prayer meeting at all district centres on October 31, the 27th death anniversary of Indira Gandhi.
