Man held for murder of infant

HYDERABAD: Dasarath Lal, who allegedly murdered his younger brother's daughter, Soni, a few days ago has been arrested by the Shahinayathgunj police.Dasarath strangled the 16-month-old to death and later partially burnt her body, said Goshamahal assistant commissioner of police, M V Venkateshwara Rao.On June 24, Soni went missing while her parents Kishan Lal and Radha were away at work. Later, Dasarath demanded a ransom for her but strangled Soni.During the interrogation, the accused told the police that he bore grudge against his brother for turning him out of his house a few days ago.
