Bengaluru: A petty scuffle during India-Australia T20 match on Sunday led to the death of a youth in Bengaluru on Sunday night.
While some young men were watching the match on a big screen, accused John Kennedy came to the scene accompanied by his dog. During the nail-biting match, his dog started barking. Disturbed by the dog, the cricket fans asked John to go away with his dog. When Kennedy refused, he was thrown out by the angry youth.
A few minutes later, he returned with his friends and attacked the young men. The accused Kennedy stabbed a 20-year-old Avinash with a broken beer bottle. Avinash died on his way to hospital.
The police have arrested Kennedy over charges of murder.
