THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Air Sqn NCC added another feather in its cap at the Independence Day parade held here on Monday. Among the non-police contingents, No 1. Kerala Air Sqn NCC bagged the best contingent award. This contingent was represented by the Junior Division boys from St Joseph School, Pettah. The cadets had put up an excellent show with a military style march-past in front of Chief Minister Oommen Chandy. This is the first time ever that Air Wing has bagged the award.
