Mico staff threaten protest

BANGALORE: Mico Employees Association has threatened to go on a protest against the company if it fails to take back the employees for work. In a press release, the association alleged that the factory management shifted  equipment to different places when labourers were off as it was Sunday. Labourers who staged a protest against this were not allowed to enter the company’s premises on September 29. Now more than 3,500 labourers and their family members are suffering. “If management does not take these labourers back, the association will protest,” the release stated.
