Islamabad: At least four people were killed and more than 15 injured on Friday in a bomb attack at a Shia mosque in the Pakistani city of Rawalpindi, police said.
Militants targeted the mosque in densely populated Chittian Hatian areas near Committee Chowk in the garrison city of Rawalpindi. A police official said that four people were killed and 15 injured.
The identity of those killed was not known immediately. There were reports that it was a suicide attack but it was not still confirmed. A religious congregation was going on at the time of the attack.
