Directed by sensational director VV Vinayak, 'Naayak' stars Ram Charan Teja, Kajal Agarwal and Amala Paul in the lead roles. It's produced by DVV Danayya under the banner of Universal Media. The audio of the film was launched at a grand function held at Ramanaidu Studios in Nanakaramguda in Hyderabad on December 17. SS Thaman has scored music for the film and the speciality of the album is that Chiranjeevi's hit song 'Subhalekha Rasukunna....' in 'Kondaveeti Donga' was specially remixed for this film.
Power Star Pawan Kalyan attended the function as chief guest and released the audio CD and handed over the first piece to Surekha, wife of Chiranjeevi.
Stylish Star Allu Arjun and Rajamouli released the trailers on the occasion. In this programme, Ram Charan's wife Upasana, Sarat Marar, Dil Raju, Vamsi Paidipalli, Bandla Ganesh, Boyapati Srinu, Chota K Naidu, Akula Shiva, Dr Venkateswara Rao, Gemini Kiran, Kota Srinivasa Rao, Meher Ramesh, Radhakrishna, Nallamalupu Bujji, NV Prasad, Alankar Prasad were present at the audio launch among others.
Pawan Kalyan spoke very less by saying, 'I speak only up to situation. But I don't know what to speak. I wish all the best to the entire film unit. Let us all wish the film a big success. I thank all the fans, who came to attend the function across the state.'
Thanking Pawan Kalyan, Ram Charan said, "After my dad, its my uncle everything to me. Of course, my dad was absent due to preoccupation of some other work. But, my uncle filled the gap. He is always a Power Star. I am very happy for his presence on the dais. When it comes to this film, after my dad, director Vinayak is like another uncle for me. He gave me a powerful role in this film and this film would not leave the mass untouched. Likewise, I thank Thaman for giving melodious tunes to all the songs."
Vinayak said, "For the subject of the film, Charan is very apt. He performed with full energy and I am sure this film too would stand in the line of 'Magadheera' in Charan's career."
Stylish Star Allu Arjun said, "I saw many stars and their sons in the film industry. But Charan earned a good name to his father as a film star. He is great in this aspect."
Rajamouli concluded by saying, 'After the launch of the trailer, all my doubts on the film and Charan's elevation had gone. Especially, Charan's simplicity suited at its best for the title. I am very sure that the film would be a definite hit.'
