Immediately, the Karnataka team, led by Chief Minister Jagadish Shettar, walked out of the meeting.Kannada activists and members of the Cauvery River Protection Committee expressed displeasure over the UPA government for “favouring Tamil Nadu”.Hundreds of them took to the streets in Mandya,  Mysore and Chamrajnagar districts, raising slogans against the Centre.
