BANGALORE: The judges of the Karnataka High Court, it seems, have decided to drill down the message of sincerity in a pictorial manner.A poster that bore the message “Young members of the Bar will be encouraged provided they are prepared to argue their case”, which was posted all around the High Court, was the judges’ way of guiding young advocates and petitioners. The posters, some of which carried the picture of a skeleton, caught the attention of none other than veteran advocate Ram Jethmalani, who was here on Thursday representing former CM B S Yeddyurappa in a litigation.Jethmalani is said to have enquired about the posters with Justice K L Manjunath, who explained that the bench was going to take up all accident cases — a lucid message to petitioners.A few other posters contain the message “All young advocates can become legal experts if they learn from law books, seniors, experience and self thinking”.There is another notice which reads “Learned members of the Bar are requested to attend the court after reading their case papers in full.” Apparently, these notices have been put up at the insistence of the judges concerned.Even Chief Justice J S Khehar, during the hearings, advises junior advocates to come prepared and not seek adjournment.
