Power situation to improve after December 25

HYDERABAD: Chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy on Tuesday reviewed power supply in the state with officials and directed them to reduce power cuts to domestic and industrial sectors. In a meeting with APGenco and other concerned officials at the Secretariat on Tuesday, the chief minister directed officials to purchase power from other states and seek to reduce power cuts across the state. Officials explained about the present situation and to stop power cuts, the power utilities require 26,000 billion units of power.
