Satnams death: Doctors conduct strike

Follow us:WhatsappFacebookTwitterTelegram.cls-1{fill:#4d4d4d;}.cls-2{fill:#fff;}Google NewsThe doctors at the Mental Health  Centre, Peroorkada conducted a strike on Friday protesting against the disciplinary action initiated by the government against six doctors in connection with the controversial death of Bihari youth Satnam Singh.The strike, under the leadership of KGMOA, paralysed the functioning of the hospital as all the 14 doctors except one participated in the strike.There was only one doctor, who works on contract basis, to attend the patients at the outpatient and inpatient sections during the day.For the night shift also only one doctor was on duty. “I am not sure whether they will come for duty on Saturday or not.
