New Delhi: A special plane to Pakistan has taken off with injured victims of the Delhi-Atari Samjhauta blasts.
Seven Pakistani nationals, who were injured in the blasts but are now well enough to travel, were flown back in the special C-130 arranged for them by the Pakistani government.
A team of doctors from Pakistan accompanied the injured persons. One relative each was also allowed to travel with each of the patients.
The others who were injured - including Rana Shaukat Ali, his wife Rukhsana and their one-year-old daughter Aksa - will leave for Pakistan via Wagah later.
Ali, who is a key witness in the blasts case lost five of his children in the tragedy. He is currently in Panipat identifying the bodies of his children.
Meanwhile, the Indian Police have detained eight people for questioning in the Samjhauta blasts case.
However, other than that, they are in the dark as to the case and the spat between India and Pakistan has not helped matters.
Pakistan has denied the Indian Government access to the victims of the blasts who are Pakistani nationals following Indian Foreign Affairs Minister, Pranab Mukherjee's refusal for a joint probe.
Pakistan has alleged that Indian authorities are treating its citizens as suspects.
