HYDERABAD: Stating that Lokayukta cannot curb corruption at all levels, National Campaign For People's Right to Information (NCPRI) has proposed parallel institutions at the statelevel and also a separate mechanism to deal corruption and related issues.
Addressing a seminar on 'Corruption and social development,' here on Monday, NCPRI member Aruna Roy said "Political parties and democratic institutions must exist. But, they should have sanctity." She mooted a stronger Central Vigilance Commission, and a strong judicial accountability and standards bill.
