Johannesberg (South Africa): Director-producer Suneel Darshan's new film Shaka Laka Boom Boom is set in the mad, mad world of pop music.
The film stars Bobby Deol, Celina Jaitley and Upen Patel and on the sets of the film, the chemistry clearly soars between Upen and Celina what with all the bare skin.
And of course, there is the usual 'I love you, you love me' bonhomie.
Says actor Upen Patel, "If I ask the director how do I do a scene and if he thinks I can do it better, then I will do it again."
About Upen Patel, Bobby Deol says, "He's just begun his career and it's always difficult. One is always nervous and very cautious. You know you are just over worked when you start with your work. I have been through that."
After painful tearjerkers like Dosti, Darshan says he is smartening up and getting a new look in Shaka Laka Boom Boom which will cost around Rs 20 crore.
"You will see me refining myself further because growth and experience always bring about a refinement within you," says Suneel Darshan.
This is Suneel Darshan's sixth film to be shot in South Africa and if nothing else, it is bound to be a good holiday for all cast and crew.
