Supreme Court order slap in face of YSRC

HYDERABAD: “It was a slap in the face of YS Jagan group," was how the Telugu Desam has reacted to the Supreme Court's direction to YS Vijayamma, YSR Congress honorary president and MLA, to withdraw the petition filed by her.As directed by the Supreme Court, Vijayamma withdrew her petition on Monday. She had sought shifting of TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu's illegal assets’ case to any other High Court from Andhra Pradesh.Reacting to this, TDP senior leader Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy said that it was a slap in the face of the YSRC.“The Jagan group had been targeting the judiciary and even published articles in Sakshi newspaper attributing motives to the judiciary. The Sakshi articles even alleged that there was a nexus of ruling Congress, TDP and judiciary against the YSRC. With the direction of the Supreme Court, Jagan and his mother Vijayamma should tender an unconditional apology to the judiciary,” he demanded.
