Teacher jailed for rape

ROURKELA: A 38-year-old teacher Bhusan Xalxo was on Thursday sent to judicial custody by Raiboga police in Sundargarh district on the charges of raping a Class-VII student. On the complaint of her parents, police arrested Xalxo. Preliminary investigation revealed that the accused had impregnated the 13-year-old girl of a school at Majhapara under Raiboga police limits. Medical examination of the victim and accused was done.
