Two teachers of Bramhanachai UP School at Seragada were suspended following molestation charges against one of them. The parents of a Class VII student had reported the matter to the school managing committee. Following allegations against an assistant teacher, D Dolai, the president of the managing committee, Nayan Malik, placed the mater before the Seragada BDO. He further alleged that the in-charge headmaster of the school, S Karji, often remained absent which allowed Dolai scope to harass the girl students.
BDO Manoj Kumar Swain along with Aska DI of Schools Bamdev Tripathy visited the school and interacted with the students. Tripathy passed an order on July 21 placing Dolai and Karji under suspension.
