Oil is made from soybeans, sunflowers, rice and mustard. This oil is found in everyone’s daily diet. A young daily labourer named Ramzan Ali from Sitalkuchi, West Bengal surprised everyone by making oil from corn. After many months of effort, he succeeded in making this oil. Currently, he makes corn oil at home and sells it. The quality of this oil is very good. That is why people in the area come to collect this oil from him. That is why Ramzan Ali is in demand now among locals. Ramzan Ali said in an interview, “It is possible to make oil from corn. But some special methods have to be followed. If these methods are followed properly, oil comes out of the corn. From cooking to playing chess, you can do anything with this oil. Currently, he makes this oil at home daily. Many people come to his house to buy this oil. To make the oil, the corn must first be peeled well. Then you break it slightly and heat it in a dry pan. Then the oil comes out of the corn.”

Ramzan Ali’s wife Marina Khatun said, “I use it at home. This oil is delicious to eat. Mustard oil has a light consistency. But this oil is not as dark as mustard oil. Therefore, this oil can be used easily.”

Experienced doctor Biswajit Dutta said, “During the extraction of oil from corn, several useful components may be lost. However, vitamins A, D, E and K are not lost. Therefore, this oil is very useful for the human body. It is also very important for the body because of its antioxidant properties.”

Many locals are collecting this oil from Ramzan Ali.
