Thousands of devotees gathered at Jama Masjid in Delhi on Thursday to offer prayers on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi also wished everyone celebrating ‘Eid-ul-Fitr’ on Wednesday. Taking to X (formerly Twitter) in a post, he wrote, “Best wishes on Eid-ul-Fitr. May this occasion further spread the spirit of compassion, togetherness and peace. May everyone be happy and healthy. Eid Mubarak!”
