Tight security in IT areas

HYDERABAD: To minimise the impact of Wednesday’s bandh on the IT sector, Cyberabad police said they would provide security to the transport services. Cyberabad police commissioner Ch Dwaraka Tirumala Rao said they are coordinating with their various counterparts in the city and other departments like railways, RTC, civil supplies and IT department to minimise the impact of the bandh on the IT sector. RTC would be running its services in the city and outskirts. “The police would be supporting the RTC workers to run the services,” he said. The IT companies and units in Biotech Park and Genome Valley can run their company buses for which security would be provided enroute. Security will also be given to vehicles and autos from Hitec city railway station to Madhapur.
