Traffic will be re-routed in the city from 1 p m onwards on Sunday on account of a rally planned in connection with the 7th national conference of the Anganwadi Workers and Helpers Association, the police said.
Vehicles moving from Peroorkada to Thampanoor should take the Peroorkada-Kowdiar-Vellayambalam-Vazhuthacaud-Mettukkada-Thampanoor flyover-Ponnara Park route.
East Fort-bound vehicles from Peroorkada should move via Peroorkada, Kowdiar, Vellayambalam, Vazhuthacaud, Mettukada, Thampanoor flyover, Killipalam and Attakulangara.
Vehicles from the East Fort side to the Nedumangad side should move via Attakulangara, Killipalam, flyover, Mettukkada, Xanadu, Vazhuthacaud and Vellayambalam.
Motorists going from Thampanoor to Nedumangad should go via Aristo Junction, Model School Junction, Bakery Junction, Vazhuthacaud and Vellayambalam. Motorists from Thampanoor aiming for MC Road and the NH should take the Aristo Junction-Model School-Panavila-flyover-Underpass-Asan Square-PMG-Pattom-Kesavadasapuram route.
From MC Road to Thampanoor, motorists should go via Mannanthala, Kudappanakkunnu, Peroorkada, Vellayambalam, Vazhuthacaud, Xanadu, Panavila, Model School and Aristo Junction.
From NH to Thampanoor, vehicles should go via Kesavadasapuram, Pattom, Kowdiar, Vellayambalam, Xanadu, Panavila, Model School and Aristo Junction.
From NH and Kazhakootam to East Fort, take the Mukkola, Chackai, Enchakkal and West Fort route.
Motorists going from East Fort to Pappanamcode and the Neyyatinkara side should go via Attakulangara, Killipalam and Karamana. From Thampanoor to Pappanamcode and Neyyatinkara, go via Ponnara Park, Thampanoor flyover, Killipalam and Karamana.
