THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: IC-FOSS, Technopark and Centre for Development Studies (CDS), Thiruvananthapuram, are jointly organising a three-day training programme on ‘Information delivery systems for academic and research institutions (IDSARI 1.0)’ during July 11-13, at ICFOSS, Technopark. The programme is aimed at equipping the staff of education and research institutions such as programme/course co-ordinators, teachers, librarians and students in modern, IT-based management of courses. The programme will cover aspects such as information storage, delivery and management, using FOSS-based software such as Moodle and DSpace. The programme has both theory sessions and hands-on practical sessions. Participants will receive certificates on successful completion of the programme.
