Two fishermen drown at sea

ONGOLE: Two fishermen drowned at sea in a boat capsize at Kothapatnam in Prakasam district on Monday. Another fisherman managed to swim to the shore safely. The deceased were identified as Dandubrolu Munija (51) and Pinni Venkateswarlu (52) of Pallepalem village in Kothapatnam mandal. The trio ventured into the sea for fishing in the early hours of Monday. The boat capsized when a huge tidal wave hit it. Munija and Venkateswarlu drowned, said Chapala Mohan who escaped from death. Kothapatnam in-charge sub-inspector K Sivanagaraju registered a case. Marine police and Coast Guard were alerted about the boat capsize.
