Los Angeles: Veteran actor Michael Caine is planning to retire after finishing 'Now You See Me 2'.
Caine, 81, who will be next seen in frequent collaborator Christopher Nolan's space drama 'Intersteller', says he has no acting ambition left, reported Ace Showbiz.
"I have no ambitions now... all I do is, I do films that I really want to do. If I don't get a script - which I don't have - that entices me out, I'll be done in December when I do the last picture, the last script I've got.
"I always went into every movie with an aim. It was either to get an Oscar or make money, that's the two reasons I do movies. I've got two Oscars and I've got some money so I'm alright," he continued while sitting down with Newsnight. However, there could always be a change of plan as he said, "I've probably retired now but I go home and there will be a great script and I think, 'Oh I'll do one more.' I look to see if it challenges me."
Caine abandoned his initial plan to step away from movie business last year. He originally wanted to stop working when he turned 80, but decided to give himself 10 more years to carry on acting.
He also had a dream of sharing screen with Jennifer Lawrence. "I think she's wonderful. I voted for her for the Oscar. I'd love to play her grandfather or something."
Besides 'Interstellar, Caine will next be seen in 'Kingsman: The Secret Service' and 'The Last Witch Hunter'.
