Birbhum (West Bengal): Five people have been arrested and remanded to police custody for attacking two police officers in Birbhum earlier this week.

A total of 10 people have been arrested so far. The two police officers were attacked after they went to investigate reports of crude bombs being stored in a local health centre.

Police found roughly 50 crude bombs stored in the building. Section 144 of CrPC has been imposed in Chowmondal village, where police was attacked on Friday and its neighbourhood areas.
