Sources told CNN-IBN that Bhatkal has told interrogators that he was in touch with a Lt Colonel level officer of the ISI.

New Delhi: Indian Mujhahideen co-founder Yasin Bhatkal, who is currently in NIA's custody, has confessed he has been in touch with Pakistani intelligence agency, the ISI.

Sources told CNN-IBN that Bhatkal has told interrogators that he was in touch with a Lt Colonel level officer of the ISI.

Bhatkal, whose real name is Muhammad Ahmad Zarar Siddibapa, had earlier too confessed that he had trained in a Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) camp in Pakistan in 2006.

Bhatkal was arrested from the India-Nepal border along with his close aide Asadullah Akhtar alias Haddi. Bhatkal, the head of Indian Mujahideen's operations in India, is the key suspect in the Pune German Bakery and Hyderabad Dilsukhnagar blasts.
