Mumbai: Two days after the city was shaken by serial blasts, schools and colleges have not only remained open, but have also witnessed near full attendance.
Nakul Jambotkar, an 18 year old Mumbaikar is a student of Arts at St Xaviers College and travels everyday from Churchgate to Vile Parle.
Two days after the blasts, it’s just another day and Nakul like hundreds of other Mumbai students refuses to be bogged down.
"I am sure the people who have done it, meant to scare the people but we have shown them that we have moved on," Nakul says.
Nakul is not afraid to travel on the trains and his this feeling is shared by many other students in Mumbai who regularly travel by trains.
"I am not afraid to travel on the trains, yesterday I went to my classes and I did feel scared but I guess we will have to move on," says another student Shrishti.
The brave resilient Mumbaikar also knows the local train is the lifeline and perhaps the only way to put the terror behind is to move ahead.
"We are on roll again, we are going to college and taking the trains. We are back to our routine," says Vishakh, also a student.
Life has to go on and who knows it better than a city that’s always on the move.
