Another co-founder Bunty Singh shared, “I am proud that D’YAVOL’s liquid credentials are being validated by securing medals in prestigious competitions. It is particularly gratifying that these are awarded to our core expressions, which are readily available for consumers to try, and not for limited edition products and exclusive bottling.”
D’YAVOL Scotch whisky is not an Indian brand, but it is the latest name to feature in the list of award-winning whiskies. Indian single malts are gaining popularity for their distinctive flavours and quality. Previously, brands like Paul John, Amrut, and Rampur have also won several awards at global spirits competitions.
Speaking of D’YAVOL Inception, it is a combination of eight different single malts sourced from Scotland. It offers a balance of peat and sweet notes. This whisky is non-chill filtered and bottled at 47.1% ABV (Alcohol by Volume) which means it is a bold whisky that preserves its original flavour.
This whisky is currently sold in Goa, Maharashtra, and Karnataka. There are plans to extend this brand to Delhi, West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, and Telangana. The retail price for a 750 ml bottle ranges between Rs 9,000 to Rs 9,800.
D’YAVOL also includes the Black Pearl Filtered, a single estate vodka that originates from Poland, and D’YAVOL Vortex, a blended Scotch whisky. These spirits have also won medals at the International Wine & Spirit Competition (IWSC) 2024 awards. D’YAVOL has partnered with AB InBev in India for sales and distribution.
International Spirits Challenge is the leading event that promotes exceptional quality spirits worldwide. It receives thousands of entries from over 70 countries worldwide and is endorsed by top spirits producers globally.
