New Delhi: The FDCI India Couture Week (ICW) 2016, to take place here later this month, will mark the first time that fashion designers Tarun Tahiliani and Anita Dongre will showcase at the platform ever since the event shifted to the capital city in 2010.
ICW 2016 is slated to take place from July 20-24 at the Taj Palace hotel here, said a statement issued on behalf of the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) - the country's apex fashion body that organises the event.
They are gearing up to dazzle the ramp with their ensembles on day two of ICW 2016.
Tahiliani has always courted elegance without losing touch with traditional drapes, while Dongre is known for her vivacious colours and embroideries.
“Both Tarun and Anita will present at the FDCI India Couture Week 2016 this year taking the grandiosity of the event a notch higher. They have been influencers and trend setters in the fashion space and will present defining looks through their sartorial rendition of what a modern woman desires,” said Sunil Sethi, FDCI president.
