Aditi Rao Hydari and Siddharth are married now. The couple surprised their fans, industry colleagues and well-wishers by posting on their Instagram accounts and calling themselves “Mrs & Mr Adu-Siddhu”. The newlyweds posted a bunch of ethereal pictures from their minimalistic and intimate wedding at a 400-year-old temple in Wanaparthy, Telangana. Soon, their posts were flooded with heartfelt congratulatory messages from their loved ones.
Recently, Aditi’s Heeramandi co-star Jayati Bhatia, who portrayed Phatto in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus, expressed her happiness and congratulated the newlywed couple. While speaking to Pinkvilla, the Sasural Simar Ka actress was reminded of legendary actress Rekha’s wish to see Aditi and Siddharth married. During the conversation, she said, “I’d like to share my heartfelt wishes to Aditi and Siddharth. They both are such wonderful human beings. I believe Rekha Ji’s wish for them came true because I remember seeing a video from Sonakshi’s wedding wherein Rekha mentioned wanting to see Aditi and Siddharth married. Her wish for them and blessings have come true, and I’m extremely happy for them.”
Further, Jayati reminisced about a conversation she had with Siddharth at the premiere of Heeramandi, where he called her a “Disney character”. Recalling the same, the actress added, “Aditi is such a lovely girl, and Siddharth is also such a nice person. I remember at the premiere of Heeramandi, Siddharth came to me and said that you’re like a Disney character, and he remembered every nuance of mine from the show, and it was quite heartwarming. I am a great fan of Siddharth and his acting skills. His take on life and understanding is brilliant.”
When asked if Aditi ever talked about her wedding plans with her Heeramandi co-stars, Jayati revealed that the star cast never got time to bond on a personal level, and the Padmaavat actress would refrain from discussing her personal life on the sets. However, Jayati shared that she learned about Aditi and Siddharth’s relationship from the media portals and newspapers. Meanwhile, she heaped praises on Aditi’s nature and said, “What do I say about Aditi, I just love her. She has given me so much love, attention, and respect on the sets of Heeramandi. It is a treat to have Aditi as a co-actress. My heartfelt wishes for them. They’ll always be happy. I know that.”
Aditi and Siddharth met on the sets of the Telugu film Maha Samudram in 2021. After dating for a few years, they got engaged in March this year.
