Akshay Kumar recently appeared on cricketer Shikhar Dhawan’s show, Dhawan Karenge, where he talked about several topics. Among them, one was about his children’s plans, particularly whether they would pursue careers in the film industry. During the show, the actor also told an interesting story, where he once accidentally bumped into the bike of an RTO officer. While remembering an incident from his time in Bangkok, Akshay Kumar said, “I recalled an event when I learnt the importance of humility. It is important to be humble as it helps you handle challenges. There was a time when I accidentally collided with an RTO officer’s bike while making a turn. Consequently, we both fell. Frightened, I immediately apologised and bowed to him. The officer helped me pick up my bike and helmet and advised me to drive slowly and carefully.”
During the show, Akshay Kumar shared how his father always supported him in his career choices. He said, “My father saw that I wasn’t interested in studies and helped me move to Bangkok when I was young. I liked the country and the people there. When you step off the plane, everyone greets you with a bow and joined hands. That feeling is entirely different. It felt nice and beautiful, especially knowing this gesture comes from our culture”.
Akshay Kumar was last seen in Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, alongside Tiger Shroff. Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, the film boasts an ensemble cast, including Prithviraj Sukumaran as a villain, along with Sonakshi Sinha, Manushi Chhillar, and Alaya F in pivotal roles. The film failed to perform at the box office, despite releasing during Eid on April 10.
Akshay Kumar is now all set to feature in Jolly LLB 3. Written and directed by Subhash Kapoor, the film stars Akshay Kumar, Huma Qureshi, and Arshad Warsi in the leading roles. Recently, Akshay Kumar finished shooting in Rajasthan. He uploaded a video on Instagram from the set of Jolly LLB 3 with his co-star Arshad Warsi.
