Alia Bhatt is known for her fashion sense and turned heads at this year’s Met Gala in a beautiful saree by Sabyasachi. Interestingly, her traditional outfit received the loudest cheers on the red carpet, delighting international paparazzi. Needless to say, her look was loved by fans and her family, including her mother-in-law Neetu Kapoor and sister-in-law Riddhima Kapoor Sahni.
The actress is back to Mumbai after attending fashion’s biggest event. She was papped at the private airport, exuding boss lady vibes in a pair of blue denims, grey blazer and a white tee. She completed her look with sunnies and white sneakers. Check out the video here:

Alia, who has been getting a lot of praise for her graceful Met Gala appearance, also received a big shoutout from her mother-in-law, Neetu Kapoor, Taking to her Instagram stories, the veteran actress shared a photo of ‘bahu’ Alia and wrote, “Fabulous’. Riddhima Kapoor, too, shared a photo of her and cheered for her. In 2023, Alia Bhatt attended her first Met Gala, wearing a stunning gown by designer Prabal Gurung. Her outfit paid tribute to fashion icon Karl Lagerfeld’s famous bridal look from Chanel’s autumn/winter 1992 collection, featuring delicate pearls and intricate embroidery for a timeless, elegant look. About her look this year, Alia, in a chat with Vogue, said, “When I thought of the dress code ‘Garden of Time’, I felt it needed something timeless and nothing is more timeless than a sari.”
Meanwhile, on the film front, Alia will soon be seen in Jigra. The film is directed by Vasan Bala and jointly produced by Alia and Karan Johar. She has also signed Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love and War alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal.
